Jaine Fenn |
Jaine is a British Science Fiction and Fantasy writer, author of the Hidden Empire series of space opera novels and the Shadowlands science fantasy duology. Her short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies and magazines and been recognised with the BSFA Short Fiction Award. She has also written for Warhammer (Age of Sigmar) and Dr Who (Big Finish) and for video-games in the Halo and Total War franchises. |
Dominic Glynn |
After having to cancel in 2023, Dominic Glynn is back for 2024. He is a composer whose career began back in 1986 when he became one of the few people to arrange the theme tune to the classic TV series Doctor Who. He reworked the famous theme that accompanied Colin Baker's Doctor, and composed incidental music for the series throughout the late 1980s. As one of Britain's most prolific composers of production music, his work can also be heard in hundreds of films and TV productions worldwide, as diverse as The Simpsons, Red Dwarf, and Dead Like Me. He scored music for video games, performed live at the London's Royal Festival Hall, collaborated with video artists, and released records of electronic dance music. |
David Fernández Girón |
David is a Spanish visual effects artist and painter, working within the VFX and Animation industry for the last 25 years, the first 10 years based in Madrid, Spain, and the rest in the UK between London and Plymouth. He has worked on many well-known blockbuster films such as Sherlock Holmes, Iron Man II, Thor: The Dark World, Avengers: The Age of Ultron, the Academy Award winner Interstellar, and Solo: A Star Wars Movie, to name but a few. |
Charlotte Merrill |
Charlotte is an ex production co-ordinator and digital compositor for VFX for films. She began her film career working within the VFX (production) team on Batman Begins in 2004, and following this moved onto V for Vendetta before moving from production into post-production and working in Double Negative for 8 years. She has created VFX for films such as; Cloverfield, Batman (The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises), Sherlock Holmes, Angels and Demons, Harry Potter (and the Half Blood Prince, and the Deathly Hallows (parts 1 & 2)), Fast and Furious 6, Les Misérables, Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Ex Machina. Charlotte left VFX in 2014 to re-train to become a Dietitian and is now working in the Plymouth Public Health team supporting child and family health and wellbeing. |
